Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
1. Who we are
Titch Communications (ABN 49 689 870 193) ("Titch", "we", "us") is a strategic communications and investor relations advisory based in Sydney, Australia.
We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect through titchcommunications.com.au and our events, why we collect it, and how you can access or correct it.
2. What we collect and how
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus basic technical information from your visit.
Contact enquiries: your name, email, phone number and message when you use the "Get in touch" form or email us.
Event distribution list: your name, email, phone number, the cities where you'd like to attend events, whether you are a certified sophisticated investor under section 708 of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), whether you'd like our newsletter, and the events or companies you're interested in.
Event attendance: details you give us when you register for or attend an event.
Website use: cookies and similar technology may record information such as your browser, device, pages visited and approximate location. See section 5.
You don't have to give us your details, but without them we may not be able to reply to you or invite you to events. If you tell us you are a 708 investor, we rely on that statement; it's your responsibility to make sure it's accurate.
3. How we use and share it
We use your information to:
respond to your enquiry;
invite you to events in the cities you selected, and manage registrations;
send you our newsletter, if you said yes;
understand which events and companies our audience is interested in;
meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We may share it with:
Companies presenting at an event you register for, so they know who is attending. We share only your name, contact details and investor status, and only for that event.
Service providers that help us run Titch, such as our website host (Squarespace), our newsletter platform (Substack) and our email provider. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
Regulators or others, where the law requires it.
4. Storage outside Australia
Some of our service providers, including Squarespace and Substack, store data on servers outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard similar to the Australian Privacy Principles.
5. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to make the site work and to understand how visitors use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
6. Marketing and unsubscribing
We'll only send you event invitations or our newsletter if you've asked for them. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us at any time to be removed.
7. Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it.
8. Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
9. Complaints
If you're concerned about how we've handled your information, please email us first and we'll try to resolve it within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
